Foresters Compete at UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational
The Lake Forest men's and women's cross country teams competed on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis. The men finished 41st and the women placed 46th.
On the men's side, senior Kelsey Small was the first Forester to finish the 8-kilometer race as he placed 257th with a time of 28:27. Freshman Michael Simon came in 302nd with a time of 30:13 and senior Pete Sullivan was just behind Simon with a time of 30:29 and 303rd place. Freshman TJ Deary and senior J.D. Randol rounded out the Foresters with times of 31:32 and 32:59 for 308th and 310th.
Senior Amanda Glasgow was the top Forester finisher on the women's side with a time of 26:07 and 242nd place in the 6-kilometer race. Sophomore Viktoria Baldacci was 253rd with a time of 26:20 and freshman Katie Waskom came in 264th with a time of 26:55. Senior Kayla Ahlstrand completed the course in 27:50 for 278th place and freshman Jordan Hartness was 281st with a time of 28:20.
The Foresters competed at the Midwest Conference Championships at Ripon College on Saturday, Oct. 29 starting at 11 a.m.
