December 4, 2011Amanda Glasgow and Kelsey Small Named Foresters' Most Valuable Runners
The Lake Forest College Athletic Department held its annual Fall Sports Awards Ceremony on Sunday, December 4, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest. Seniors Amanda Glasgow and Kelsey Small were the Forester cross country team's Most Valuable Runners while sophomore Viktoria Baldacci and freshman T.J. Deary were named the team's Most Improved Runners.

Foresters Finish the Season at NCAA Midwest Regional
The Lake Forest College cross country teams completed their 2011 season at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Meet in Rock Island, Illinois, on Saturday. It was the final career race for four Forester seniors, including (pictured) Peter Sullivan and Kayla Ahlstrand.

Foresters Finish 8th in Respective Races at MWC Championships
The Lake Forest College men's and women's cross country teams each placed 8th in their respective races on Saturday at the Midwest Conference Championships at Ripon College. Senior Amanda Glasgow (pictured right) finished 41st in the women's 6K race with a time of 24:22.

Midwest Conference Championship Meet Preview
The Midwest Conference Cross Country Championship Meet will take place on Saturday. The Ripon College will host the event at Ceresco Prairie in Ripon, Wisconsin. The men's 8K race will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the women's 6K will follow at noon.

Foresters Compete at UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational
The Lake Forest men's and women's cross country teams competed on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis. The men finished 41st and the women placed 46th.

The Lake Forest men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Second Annual Gene Davis Invitational hosted by Lawrence University on Saturday. The Forester women placed fifth and the men sixth.

Lake Forest Competes at 13th Annual Forester Invitational
The Lake Forest College cross country teams hosted the 13th Annual Forester Invitational at Adler Park in Libertyville on Saturday. The Forester women placed seventh and there was no team scoring in the men's race. Junior Chris Wiatr finished 25th out of 114 runners and sophomore Viktoria Baldacci was 32nd out of 133 in their respective races.

Lake Forest Set to Host Cross Country Meet at Adler Park
Adler Park in Libertyville will be the site of the 13th annual Forester Invitational cross country meet on Saturday, September 24. More than 300 runners from 20 colleges and universities are set to compete. The women's 5K race will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the men's 8K will follow at 11:00.

The Lake Forest College cross country teams competed at Concordia University Wisconsin's Falcon Invite on Saturday. The Forester women placed eighth and the men ninth at the meet. Senior Amanda Glasgow and junior Chris Wiatr placed 37th in their respective races.

Forester Women Place Eighth, Men 10th at Spartan Classic
The Lake Forest College cross country teams competed at Aurora University's Spartan Classic Friday evening. Senior Amanda Glasgow was 30th to lead the Forester women to an eighth-place finish. Lake Forest's men finished 10th.

Cross Country Runner Dominates At Chicago Triathlon
Chris Wiatr, a junior cross country runner, finished second in his age group in the Chicago Triathlon that took place on Sunday, August 28. Wiatr was racing to receive his professional license and finished only 54 seconds behind the winner.

Lake Forest Opens the Season at Elmhurst's Earlybird Invitational
The Forester cross country teams began 2011 at Elmhurst College's Earlybird Invitational on Friday. The Lake Forest men placed 11th at the meet and were led by senior Kelsey Small, whose 6-kilometer time of 22:03 was a second faster than freshman teammate Reggie Mills.
