The Lake Forest College Athletic Department is excited to host the second annual Spring Athletic Alumni Challenge. “This day provides such a great opportunity for all of the former players to come back to campus and not only play in a game together, but also share their life experiences with our current student-athletes,” explains Athletic Director Jackie Slaats, "We are excited to continue building on last year's success and establish a lasting tradition."

Heather Noll Named Foresters' Head Volleyball Coach
Lake Forest College Director of Athletics Jackie Slaats announced Tuesday that Heather Noll will be the next head coach of the Forester volleyball team. Noll replaces Jennifer Saylor, who resigned at the end of the 2011 season.

Tia Rupnik Named Foresters' Most Valuable Player
The Lake Forest College Athletic Department held its annual Fall Sports Awards Ceremony on Sunday, December 4, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest. Junior libero Tia Rupnik was named the Most Valuable Player of the Forester volleyball team and classmate Courtney Faulstick was selected as the squad's Most Improved Player.

Lake Forest College head volleyball coach Jennifer Saylor officially announced earlier this week that she would not be returning for a fifth season as head coach. The College's search for her replacement begins immediately.

Jennifer Saylor Named MWC Coach of the Year, Three Foresters All-MWC
The Midwest Conference released its end-of-season awards for volleyball on Wednesday and Lake Forest College was well-represented. Jennifer Saylor was voted the MWC Coach of the Year, Cori Cooper and Tia Rupnik were First Team All-MWC selections, and Molly McCloskey was named to the Second Team.

The Lake Forest College volleyball team had its season come to an end Saturday as the Foresters fell 25-19, 25-16, 25-15 at St. Norbert College in the Midwest Conference Tournament final. Junior Molly McCloskey led the visitors with a dozen kills in the match.

Foresters Defeat Monmouth in Four Sets, Advance to MWC Tournament Final
The Lake Forest College volleyball team defeated Monmouth College 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-19 in the semifinals of the Midwest Conference Tournament at St. Norbert College on Friday. The Foresters are now 15-13 on the season and will face league champion St. Norbert in tomorrow's tournament final at 1:00 p.m.

Cori Cooper Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Volleyball player Cori Cooper earned her second Forester Athlete of the Week award this year on Thursday after recording 42 kills, including the 1,000th of her career, and leading Lake Forest to a 2-1 record over the weekend.

The Forester volleyball team is competing in the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament at league champion St. Norbert College this weekend. Lake Forest is the #3 seed and will face second-place Monmouth College in Friday's 4:30 p.m. semifinal. Saturday's afternoon's final starts at 1:00.

Foresters Defeat Lawrence and Alverno, Qualify for MWC Tournament
The Lake Forest College volleyball team defeated visiting Lawrence University 25-19, 25-16, 25-15 on Saturday to clinch a spot in next weekend's four-team Midwest Conference Tournament. The Foresters then closed out the regular season with a 25-15, 28-26, 23-25, 25-23 triumph over Alverno College. Junior Cori Cooper had a match-high 18 kills against Lawrence and reached the 1,000-kill mark for her career against Alverno.

The Forester volleyball team was defeated 15-25, 25-20, 25-23, 21-25, 15-12 by visiting St. Norbert College Friday night. Freshman Torie Pasiewicz led Lake Forest with 26 assists and she added a career-high 22 digs as well as an ace.

Foresters Win the Important One in Triangular Split
The Lake Forest College volleyball team won its third Midwest Conference match in as many days on Saturday, defeating visiting Grinnell College 25-22, 24-26, 25-13, 25-16. The Foresters fell 25-13, 25-22, 23-25, 36-34 to Trinity International University later in the afternoon. Lake Forest juniors Cori Cooper and Molly McCloskey combined for 74 kills on the day.

Four Individuals Inducted into Forester Athletic Hall of Fame
The Lake Forest College Athletic Hall of Fame added four members on Saturday as part of the College's annual Homecoming festivities. This year's induction class included players from three different sports as well as a 14-year coach at the College.

The Forester volleyball came from behind to edge out Capital University 21-25, 28-30, 25-19, 25-15, 16-14 in its season opener at the Elmhurst College Invitational on Friday. Lake Forest was defeated in its final three matches of the weekend. Junior Kristen Braun had a career-high 11 kills in the opener and a team-high 10 blocks on the weekend.

The Midwest Conference released its annual preseason volleyball coaches poll on Thursday and Lake Forest College was picked to finish third in the league. Forester junior libero Tia Rupnik is one of four First Team All-MWC players returning this season.
