The 2011 season is the second for Anastasia Tashlitsky as assistant coach of the Foresters women's tennis team. She also serves as an assistant for the men's squad in the spring.
Lake Forest posted a 12-5 overall record and 3-1 mark in Midwest Conference South Division play in 2010, Tashlitsky's first year on staff. The Foresters were the runners-up at the MWC Team Championship Tournament and Melika Celebic repeated as conference champion at #1 singles. Lake Forest players combined to win more than 66 percent of their individual singles and doubles matches on the season.
Tashlitsky graduated from Lake Forest College in 2007 after four years on the tennis team. She recorded 68 victories (32 singles, 36 doubles) in her career and owns a share of the program record for career victories by a #1 doubles team. She advanced to the MWC Tournament semifinals in doubles four times, including a runner-up finish at #2 as a sophomore, and singles twice.
Tashlitsky has also helped lead the Forester men's team to a 31-13 overall record in the last two seasons, including a program-best 20 victories and a runner-up finish at the MWC championships in 2010.
