The Intercollegiate Tennis Association recently released its 2013 Scholar-Athletes and Lake Forest College senior Melika Celebic, junior Aimee Fadden, and sophomore Leslie Walton made the list.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters (including freshman thorough senior year).

Celebic, Fadden, and Walton were also named Academic All-Midwest Conference earlier this summer. They combined for a 29-25 record in singles play during the 2012-13 season and a mark of 33-27 in doubles.
