Jen Saviano joined the Forester coaching staff in 2011-12 and works primarily with the team’s forwards.
Saviano spent the last two years as the head coach for the Lake Forest Academy girls hockey team. Her squad was the league’s runner-up last season.
Saviano has also served as a youth hockey/skating instructor for several organizations since 2003, been an assistant coach for the Team Illinois U16 squad, and directed the combined girls hockey program for Lake Forest and Barrington High Schools.
As a forward for the Foresters from 2004-08, Saviano (then Clouthier) played in 83 games and finished her career with 13 goals, 17 assists, and a +15 plus/minus rating. She was a two-time member of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association All-Academic Team and is still one of just five players in program history to record as many as five points in a single game.
