The 2012 season is the third for Joe Brazil on the Forester coaching staff. He will continue to work with the team's outfielders.
Lake Forest has posted a 38-32-1 overall record and 21-4 mark in Midwest Conference play during Brazil's first two years with the program. The team's outfielders have recorded 21 assists during that time.
Brazil graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and emphasis in law enforcement. That year he also served as a criminal justice intern with the La Crosse Sheriff's Department.
Brazil's coaching career began at the youth level in his hometown of Fremont, Wisconsin, where he coached both softball and wrestling. He has also served as an official in both sports.
He is also an account manager for Ecologic Industries in Waukegan, Illinois, and lives in Zion with his wife Cheryl.
