Nicholas Kliminski, Men's Soccer
Men's soccer player Nicholas Kliminski was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after scoring a goal in each of the team's three victories.
Kliminski, a sophomore, scored to end Lake Forest's season opener against visiting St. Mary's University on Friday with just 20.9 seconds to play in the second overtime.
On Sunday the Foresters routed host Rockford College 8-1 and Kliminski had a goal and an assist in the contest.
Kliminski closed out the week by scoring the only goal in Lake Forest's 1-0 victory at home against Edgewood College. The score occured with 1:42 remaining in the first half.
Kliminski's three goals and seven points lead the team after its first three games.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
