Jim Swoyer is in his first season as an assistant coach at Lake Forest College. His primary focus during the 2011-12 season will be player development and assisting the staff’s recruiting efforts.

Swoyer’s coaching experience includes player development with USHL players, Coaching in the ACHA, power skating in Russia, a skill clinic in Sweden, and serving on a high school staff and with numerous programs in the Chicago area.

Swoyer graduated and played four years of college hockey at Southern New Hampshire University and was the team captain. He later received his MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Swoyer resides in Hinsdale, Illinois, with his wife Jennifer and children Colin, Hannah and Devin.
