The Forester men's hockey team was defeated 7-0 at Adrian College Friday night. The Bulldogs are ranked fourth in the nation by USCHO.com.The same two teams will face off again tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. EST.
Adrian jumped ahead with three goals in an 80-second span, starting at the 7:24 mark of the opening period. The home team added a power play score with 15 seconds left in the period and led 4-0 at the first intermission.
The Bulldogs tacked on a pair of goals in the second period and a shorthanded score in the third.
Lake Forest was out-shot 17-6 in the first period and 34-20 in the contest.
The Foresters are now 1-4-0 overall and in Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association play while Adrian raised its overall record to 5-1-0 and league mark to 4-1-0.
