Brian Madson, Men's Basketball
Men's basketball player Brian Madson was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after helping lead Lake Forest to a 76-51 victory over visiting University of St. Francis the previous night.
Madson, a freshman forward, made four of five attempts from three-point range in the contest and finished the evening with a game-high 17 points in 18 minutes.
Madson entered the contest with a total of seven points in 20 minutes of playing time, spanning six appearances.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
