Travis Clark, Men's Basketball
Men's basketball player Travis Clark was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after leading Lake Forest to a 79-64 victory over visiting Beloit College on Sunday.
Clark, a senior post player, led all players in the game with 24 points and 12 rebounds for his fourth double-double in as many games this season. He shot 9-for-10 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free throw line in the contest. In addition, Clark tied for team-high honors with five assists and added two steals and a blocked shot.
Clark leads the Foresters with 19.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game this season. He is shooting more than 70 percent from the field and is also second on the squad with 2.8 assists per contest.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. Clark also earned the award three times last year and once as a sophomore.
