The 2012 season will be the fourth for Steve Little as the Foresters' outside linebackers coach. He has served as a coach and/or strength and conditioning coordinator at various levels for more than two decades.

Under his directon over the last three seasons, Forester starting outside linebackers have combined for well over 300 tackles as well as 27.5 tackles for loss, a dozen sacks, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and a pair of return touchdowns. They have also garnered a pair of All-Midwest Conference honors.

Little was the assistant head coach at Trinity International University in nearby Deerfield, Illinois, from 2004-08 and also served as defensive line coach (2004-05) and defensive coordinator (2005-08) during that time. He also spent time coaching for the Chicago Bears (1998-2003), Temple University (1990), Purdue University (1988-89), and Iowa State University (1986) and had internships with the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers.

In addition to coaching, Little has worked in the strength and conditioning field for the Chicago Bears, Northern Illinois University, San Francisco 49ers, Purdue University, and Temple University.

Little played collegiately at Iowa State University, where he was a team captain and Second Team All-Big 8 selection.
