The mission of the Lake Forest College Running Club is to provide an opportunity for ALL students that enjoy running to compete in 5K's, 10K's, Fun Runs, and open track meets throughout the course of the spring semester.
All runners must participate minimum of 2 training sessions per week to be considered a member of the College's Running Club. Members are also encouraged to participate in other related endeavors (i.e. clinics, community events, Lake Forest Community running club, etc) to enhance their club sport experience.
PARTICIPATION FEE: $50.00
At the beginning of each semester there is an opportunity for interested students to sign up for any club sport at what is called the Involvement Fair. If a student decides to come to Lake Forest he/she can attend the Fair in the fall and/or spring and sign up for a club sport then. The Fair takes place in or behind Commons, depending on weather, within the first two weeks of classes. First-year students do not need to do anything before arriving at Lake Forest in order to participate in club sports.
