Women's Rugby

The Lake Forest College Women's Rugby Club was established in 2003 and has already become the most successful Women's club program on campus. In the last 5 years, the Club is 27-7, with 2 undefeated seasons.  They have already established themselves as a competitive rugby club as further evidenced by winning the CARFU Cup in 2011 and the Tournament of Champions Tournament in 2007 and 2010.  With an emphasis on safety, proper technical rugby, and fitness, the club has earned a reputation of producing excellent rugby players.

"Going Weak"

At the beginning of each semester there is an opportunity for interested students to sign up for any club sport at what is called the Involvement Fair. If a student decides to come to Lake Forest he/she can attend the Fair in the fall and/or spring and sign up for a club sport then. The Fair takes place in or behind Commons, depending on weather, within the first two weeks of classes. First-year students do not need to do anything before arriving at Lake Forest in order to participate in club sports.
