Men's Lacrosse
| The Lake Forest College Men's Club Lacrosse team was
resurrected for the 2007 season. During the 2008 season, the
Foresters joined the Great Lakes Lacrosse League. The Foresters
finished 11-3 in their first season in the conference. The 2008
season included wins over Northwestern University, the University
of Wisconsin, as well as Eastern and Western Illinois University.
In addition to the regular season, Lake Forest won two games at the
end of the year conference tournament at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. The Club Sports program pays transportation
costs and some equipment. Players must purchase the balance of
their equipment. The team is coached by John Combs.

At the beginning of each semester there is an opportunity for interested students to sign up for any club sport at what is called the Involvement Fair. If a student decides to come to Lake Forest he/she can attend the Fair in the fall and/or spring and sign up for a club sport then. The Fair takes place in or behind Commons, depending on weather, within the first two weeks of classes. First-year students do not need to do anything before arriving at Lake Forest in order to participate in club sports.
