Cheryl Brazil joined the Forester staff as Assistant Athletic
Director in the fall of 2008 after completing her master’s
degree in sport administration at the University of Wisconsin-La
Crosse. Her duties include athletic relations, fundraising,
admissions/recruiting coordination, community conduct, and staff
programming. She also oversees the Forester Athletic Network
(F.A.N. Club) and its annual Golf Outing.
During her time at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Brazil
completed her graduate assistantship as the Undergraduate Research
Coordinator and assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor of
Academic Affairs. She was responsible for the coordination of
several annual research events, national conference attendance, and
assisted with grant programming. In addition, she has continued her
involvement with the UW-La Crosse Alumni Association and student
alumni ambassadors since 2005. Brazil helped develop new
programming for the campus and was a member of the
Chancellor’s Golf Outing committee. Prior to her graduation,
Brazil spent time as the Assistant Clubhouse Manager at Deer Run
Golf Course in Brillion and an event operation intern for the La
Crosse Symphony Orchestra. She graduated from the University of
Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in
communication and public relations and a minor in psychology.
She lives in Lake Forest with her husband Joe Brazil, a volunteer assistant coach for the Forester softball team.
