Athletic Council Mission Statement


The Athletic Council was designed to develop leadership skills of students with a special interest in athletics.  The main focus of the council is to increase school spirit and athletic support throughout the college community.  In addition, the council will serve as an advisory committee to the athletic department. (The mission statement is in the process of being revised).

Athletic Council Events

Homecoming Pep Rally, Homecoming Volleyball Tournament, Growl Fest, Open Skate (Roller), Food Drive, Toy Drive, Winterfest (Open Skate, Sled Hockey), Fac/Staff/Student Competition Day, Fanatic Events (Forester Fridays, Events at Athletic Competitions (blackout, red out, activities during breaks, etc.).

Division III SAAC Mission Statement

The mission of the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee(SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes; protecting student-athlete welfare; and fostering a positive student-athlete image, while maintaining the tenants of the Division III philosophy.

SAAC Events

Take a Kid to the Game Day, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Special Olympics, DIII Week, Student-Athlete Day, Buddy Teams, All-Sportsmanship Team.
