177 Runners Participate in 2012 Ry's Run
On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, the Lake Forest College Athletics Department hosted the third annual Ry’s Run with 177 runners and over 30 relay teams participating. Music was blaring from the Sports and Recreation Center parking lot as the runners were getting ready to run the 5K course around the outskirts of South Campus.

Cubs Crawl Leaves Denver and Heads to St. Louis
The College's annual Cubs Crawl was in Denver on Saturday, July 31. Chicago was defeated 6-5 on a ninth-inning walk-off home run but that did not stop the 25 Lake Forest alumni, parents, and staff members from having a good time cheering on both teams and celebrating their mutual connection to Forester Athletics.

Ry's Run and Relay for Life Raise Funds for American Cancer Society
Lake Forest College hosted its fourth annual Relay For Life on Friday, April 16th. More than 450 people, separated into 46 teams, participated in the event. Three days earlier, more than 200 individuals took part in the inaugural Rys Run. Both events raised money for the American Cancer Society.
